Learn About In-Browser PDF Merging

Open in Docs Hub

How Does In-Browser Merging Work?

The engine parses each uploaded file's binary object trees, copies page indices and content streams, and links them into a fresh master PDF directly in browser RAM without uploading a single byte to any remote server.

Will File Quality Be Compromised?

No. Vector lines, fonts, text layers, and embedded high-resolution photos are merged without lossy recompression, preserving 100% original fidelity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reorder the sequence of documents before merging?

Yes! You can drag cards directly or use the ▲ (Move Up) and ▼ (Move Down) buttons next to each document. You can also use the A-Z or Reverse sort buttons to organize large batches.

Can I extract specific page ranges from each PDF before combining?

Yes! In each file card's Pages input, you can type specific ranges such as 1-3, 5 or leave it as All. Only the designated pages will be copied into the master document.

Is there any limit on the number of PDFs I can combine?

No server limits exist. You can merge 2, 10, or 50+ documents as long as your device's available browser RAM permits.
